The inductor is an important part of the high-frequency induction heating power supply, and the current collector is an important component installed on the inductor, and its importance is self-evident. Today, the editor will take this opportunity to talk about the typical structures of current collectors.

(1) Shaft end collector

The inductor heats four parts of the shaft, namely the large-diameter outer circle (lower part), the rounded corner of the cylindrical part (transition), the cylindrical surface (middle section) and the shaft end (upper section). The effective ring is combined in series with each section. Due to the small diameter of the shaft, the two longitudinal rectangular tubes can quickly heat this section; the shaft end is heated by the arc section. To match the temperature of this section with the rod, the effective ring length of this section must be increased to distribute enough power. The power of the current collector comes from the effective ring of the shaft end with enlarged diameter, such a current collector makes the temperature of the shaft end and the transition zone. This design is only used for small diameter shaft ends.

(2) Disc collector

When a small rectangular surface is required to be heated, the coil cannot be made that small and only a disc current collector can be used. The inductor is a multi-turn coil (primary winding), and the current collector is a disc-shaped copper sheet with a hook structure (secondary winding). The multi-turn coil has large resistance and ampere-turns, and generates a large magnetic field. The eddy current generated by the coupled secondary winding copper sheet can be formed at the hook and can be rotated at any angle to meet the needs of special workpieces.

(3) Movable collector

Movable current collector, the current collector forming a closed loop is placed in a multi-turn inductor (primary winding), the working part of the current collector is a hairpin-shaped effective coil, this current collector is required according to the work It can move left and right back and forth in the sensor. The characteristic of this example is that the larger power of the power supply can be obtained by using a multi-turn primary winding, and then transmitted to the effective circle part of one turn that needs to be moved.

(4) Heating small parts surface and intensive energy type current collector

Because the surface area of the heating part of the small shaft is small, it is difficult to use a multi-turn inductor for the high-frequency induction heating power supply. Using this inductor structure, it can be designed into multiple turns (4 turns). Due to the need to accommodate the current collector, the inner diameter of the effective circle is also large, the load is large, and the power of the equipment can be adjusted. The power-on specifications for a 60kW, 400kHz single-loop high-frequency induction heating equipment are as follows: positive voltage lkV, positive current 5A, grid current 1.5A, heating time 2s, and satisfactory results can be obtained.
